This Mother’s Day, let’s take a few minutes to think about all the kinds of moms we’ve had in our lives, traditionally and non-traditionally.

Perhaps they are: 

• The woman who brought you into this world and raised you
• An adoptive or foster mother who lovingly received you into her arms 
• A stepmom who stepped into the role with arms and heart open
• A teacher or coach who inspired you to think more deeply or work harder
• A friend’s mom who reminded you how important you were
• A big sister or cousin who showed you care
• An aunt—biological or otherwise—who saw something special in you 
• A grandmother who loved you unconditionally
• Someone who has cared for you in a way that felt special

While none of us at Davidson Group are mothers in the traditional sense, we do all subscribe to the philosophy of creating a home that is nurturing and caring for each other, and we keep that in mind when we are working with our clients to find the right house for their family, friends and “moms” in their lives.
