Happy Fourth

Happy Fourth

It’s hard to believe that it is July, and the Fourth of July is upon us. Growing up in the Bay Area, one of my fondest memories as a child was when the family would pile into the car and drive to Tilden Park to watch the Fireworks display over the Bay on the Fourth. Dad always seemed to find the perfect spot to park the car and line us up for the best vantage point to watch those phenomenal pops of color lighting up the skies. It was always such an awe inspiring sight, and the fireworks shows never seemed to be long enough. As I grew older, it was fascinating to me that adding music created a timed soundtrack to join those bright colors, and fancy swirls in the sky, which made those fireworks become a larger than life experience, blending two of my favorite things together.

When I purchased my first home in 1992, the fireworks I experienced were a lot like the fireworks I’d observed as a child.  Finding a neighborhood, then a home, making an offer, and closing escrow all had the elements of a fantastical fireworks display, culminating in a colorful display the day I moved in. When I purchased my second home in 2010, this time, the experience was much like the fireworks set to music, an orchestrated melody, with a symphony playing Stars and Stripes, and creating a new playlist as a backdrop for my new digs!

In the first half of 2022, Davidson Group has been working with clients to create their own fireworks experiences.
